JOIN NOW! One of the big differences between MilNetUK and most UK Internet Service Providers (ISPs) is that we do not wish to accumulate masses of personal information about you and your family. In fact we dont wish to know anything about you at all. There is thus no database for hackers to attempt to steal. This protects your personal security, which, as servicemen and women is obviously important. How do we do this? Everybody who accesses the internet through MilNetUK does so through our modems in Telehouse in London, and everyone uses THE SAME USERNAME AND PASSWORD. These are 'guest' and 'guest' respectively (without the quotation marks). Important. Even after you are issued a MilNetUK e-mail address (which is protected by a password which you choose when setting up your e-mail), you still use 'guest'/'guest' to access the internet (ie in dial up netwoking). You need to use the e-mail password only to access your e-mail once you are connected to the internet (see the buttons on the lefthand side of this page). If you do not wish to use MilNetUK e-mail, but only wish to access the internet and use other e-mail boxes (eg Hot Mail), please feel free to do so. For more information - see our FAQ page Registration of Domains with Nominet - We are members of Nominet, and can register domain names handled by them (eg .co.uk, .org.uk, etc). Your attention is drawn to their terms and conditions which are at www.nominet.org.uk/nominet-terms.html. Please note that these terms and conditions do not apply to our dial up internet access service, or to domains ending in .mil.uk or .mod.uk.
